This engine is an upgraded version of Neptune series engine which was launched in 2013

9 speed is good for heavier load and for gradients. 6 speed is good for rated load and surface
Since AL is offering 2 different gearboxes, there is availability of different ratios for different load and route profiles

RAR of 5.83 is for rated load & RAR of 6.5 is for heavier loads under construction application
Engine brake has better downhill braking response and safety along with longer service brake liner life and KMPL
Semi elliptical suspension is rugged and good for any load, any surface. Parabolic suspension offers better cabin comfort & longer suspension life
Bogie suspension is for heavier loads and patchy surfaces. NRS is for heavy load and slight off-road movements

As a customer one need to be selective. Application with extreme load is recommended to go for highest TAW vehicle. Lowest TAW vehicle is for rated load on surface movements
